Spanish Manufacturer Grifone Goes Live with Lawson for Fashion
Grifone® is managing two business lines: one for active outdoor use and the other one for the public sector. The first one is distributed through specialized stores and operates two annual seasons. The second line requires a ‘third dimension’ in coding (besides color and size), in order to differentiate the customizations that are made for each model depending on local community. The company manages the stock of materials and finished goods through a logistics operator.
The implementation project was led by Lawson partner Softlab and included several small go live projects following the industry-specific requirements of Grifone® like new season cycles. In a first step the company went live with product structures, order entries and release of production orders, the final go live was focused on finance and logistics.
"One of our major business goals is to achieve operational business performance and to deliver best service to our customers. With Lawson for Fashion, we have better tools at our fingertips to manage our supply chain partners in a more comprehensive way and to meet our customer service requirements. Using the warehouse integration module we benefit already from current data for our warehousing and logistics. In addition the visibility of key information at model level with size and colors has simplified for Grifone® the processes of creating new models," said Pere Agell, General Manager for Grifone®.
"The success of this project shows the high level of competency and solid implementation experience of our partner Softlab. The ultimate beneficiaries of our partnership are customers like Grifone® who can rely on solutions that will help make them stronger and more competitive. With Lawson for Fashion we are redefining enterprise applications for the fashion industry, giving companies tools they need to help improve key business processes by converting data into actionable information – based on our deep knowledge of the fashion industry and its challenges from serving more than 350 fashion customers globally,” said Josep Pou, country manager for Lawson in Spain.
